Do you want to engage the community in meaningful conversation, where your passion for the Arts will ignite others interest?

Will you enjoy the social aspect of taking people on a tour?

Then come along to the Guide training program that is booked to run April 30 – June 4th.

As a gallery guide you will provide informative and high-quality guided tours of current exhibitions to members of the public. 
You will be available for a minimum of 10 guided tours per annum including rostered Saturday tours, booked group tours and school excursions

Week 1: Orientation & Acknowledgement of Country

Week 2: Public Speaking Techniques/ Setting the Stage
Wednesday 7th May 2025 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Week 3: Exhibition-Specific Training Part 1: Exhibition Introduction
Wednesday 14th May 2025 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Week 4: Exhibition-Specific Training: Part 2: Talking about Art
Wednesday 21st May 2025 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Week 5: Concluding your tour
Wednesday 28th May 2025 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Week 6: All about Garden Tours
Wednesday 4th June 2025 1.00pm – 3.00pm

This is a fantastic year to become a guide as we have some exciting exhibitions coming up, 25 Moments, Gosford Art prize and the Archibald prize later in the year just to name a few.
