The Gallery foyer gets a facelift

We’re excited to share that the Gallery foyer is undergoing a transformation to enhance your experience in a more contemporary and welcoming space.

During this renovation period, there may be some disruptions to our usual services. To help plan your visit, we recommend checking our website or social media channels for the latest updates. When you arrive at the Gallery, look out for signage to help you access our facilities.

Here’s what you need to know:

Exhibition Spaces

Gosford Art Prize 2025 is showing in our Main Gallery, with 152 artworks from every State and Territory in Australia. More categories and increased prize money have attracted top tier visual artists from around the nation, putting the Central Coast on the artistic map and delivering a stunning array of artworks. Gallery access points may change thoughout the renovation period. Please see signage on arrival.

The Moving Image Gallery (MIG) is currently closed, with moving image artworks temporarily relocated into our Main Gallery.

Edogawa Commemorative Gardens

The gardens will remain open during the renovations. Access points may change throughout this period. Please see signage on arrival. Note that fish food is on sale in the Main Gallery. Please bring cash as our EFTPOS systems may be disrupted by construction works.

Community Gallery

The Community Gallery will be open throughout the renovation period

Gallery Gift Shop

The Shop will be closed until further notice. A pop-up shop with heavily discounted items will open when possible.

Art Classes

Art classes will continue as scheduled throughout the renovation period.
