ZINEergy is the Central Coast’s first risograph-themed exhibition, bringing together over 30 artists from Australia and beyond. Celebrating this vintage printing technique reclaimed by indie presses and artists, the show highlights its retro style and handmade feel. Risograph uses plant-based soy ink, producing bold, fluoro, and vibrant colors that pop off the walls. Often described as a hybrid between screen printing and an old-school photocopier, risograph embodies both resistance to digital dominance and an embrace of tactile craftsmanship. Alongside the exhibition, ZINEergy features risograph and zine-making  workshops, inviting the public to explore these creative mediums. The event also marks the debut of the Central Coast Zine Fair, making it a dynamic celebration of print, DIY culture, and artistic expression.
