Maree Azzopardi | Reverence

Winner of both the 2024 Gosford Art Prize and the PLC Armidale Works on Paper Award, Maree Azzopardi is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is held in both private and public collections around Australia, Italy, Dubai, Malta, UK, Sweden and the U.S. Azzopardi's new exhibition REVERENCE features recent paintings and works on paper layering historical remnants with contemporary materials, exploring the tension between the past and present. The works are both a reflection and a call to witness — the artist's response to a world in flux.
